Q: After helping another TD with their tourney page, I no longer can create my own tourney. How can I fix this?
A: When you are in the HTD Menu, try clicking on the Logout link and then logging back in fresh. Usually this is a result of you having changed the status of one of your TDs and your cookies haven't cleared yet.
Q: Why do we see players dropped from tourneys when they are members and have plenty of ladder bux?
A: At times the system will drop teams from a tourney for no given reason. The programmers have been looking at this but it is about impossible to catch it happen in the act.
Q: I had a sub play in a tourney, how can I get them their tourney stats and ladder bux?
A: Anytime a sub is used in a tourney, they are not entitled to any stats or bux. This is why most leagues try and not use subs unless they have to. In most cases they will just time out the player that either did not show up or booted.
Q: I don't have the same tools that other HTDs have, can you fix this for me?
A: You currently do not have the permissions to those functions for this league. Please contact your Head Admin about having these permissions added. The final decision if a HTD has these permissions is left up to each individual Head Admin.
Q: How can I add pictures or music to my tourney page?
A: The images, backgrounds, and music has to be stored on your web pages and then linked to the tourney page. For more information on how to accomplish this please use the 'TD help page' link from your TD admin page.
Q: Is there a site available that I can train new TDs?
A: The site you are looking for is located at http://www.igl.net/tdtraining/
The billboard on that league will provide the information required to run training tourneys.
Q: I just hosted the TOC for our league. Why didn't any of the matches get reported to the ladder side?
A: When using the automated TOC option, the tourney is set up as an invitational only. This way you can make sure that only the players who won a tourney is registered to play. Invitational only tourneys are set up by the system to be non-ladderstats. This means that none of the matches will be reported to the ladder side. This feature is not changeable by the TD.
Q: I just ran a tourney and reported the wrong winner, can this be fixed?
A: On the TD/HTD Admin page there is a link marked 'Tourney Support'. If you click that you will be taken to a page where you can select a 'Incorrect Tourney' form. Fill in the information and submit the form. We will be glad to help fix this error as soon as we receive the information.
Q: I forgot to put a TD Donation on my tourney. Can this still be processed?
A: Please click the link on your TD/HTD Admin page that is marked 'Tourney Support' link. From the drop down list select 'General/Other'. We will need to have TD name (player name if it is different than the TD name), tourney number, amount of bux donated, and winner of the tourney. As soon as we have that information we will be able to do the bux donation for you.
Q: Why am I not getting my hosting bux, not able to donate, or can not use the ezpicker option?
A: Please click the link that is marked 'Tourney Support' from your TD/HTD Admin page. From the drop down list select 'General/Other'. Please let us know that you are not receiving your hosting bux, not able to donate in tourney, not able to use the ezpicker option, or not able to do a TD name change. Once we receive that support mail, we will be able to fix your TD account.
